CSSE Assessment for 11+
The CSSE 11+ Assessment is used by the Consortium of Selective Schools in Essex (CSSE) and is a standardised exam designed to gauge prospective pupils’ abilities across Maths, English and Verbal Reasoning.
Subjects covered in CSSE Assessments
CSSE offers assessments for the following subjects:
- English
- Maths
- Verbal Reasoning
The schools can choose a combination of these subjects for their entrance exams depending on their selection criteria.
CSSE Assessment Exam Format
- CSSE papers are mostly multiple-choice format with five answer choices.
- Some schools follow the standard format where in the answers need to be calculated by the student.
Please note that Calculators are not allowed.
